Our Hardwood Bark Mulch is an excellent choice for flower beds, landscape beds, around trees and shrubs, foundation plantings, garden areas, high-visibility landscaping, commercial properties, and general landscape applications.
Hardwood Bark is especially well suited for areas where you want the natural appearance of non-dyed mulch with a finer, more premium finished look.
Application
For new landscape beds, we generally recommend applying mulch approximately 2–3 inches deep. When refreshing an area that already has mulch, approximately 1–2 inches is typically sufficient.
Avoid piling mulch directly against tree trunks or plant stems. When applying new mulch over an existing layer, loosen or remove excessive buildup first to help improve moisture penetration.
