Our Unscreened Topsoil is a natural, unprocessed soil ideal for projects where larger quantities of material are needed and a finely screened finish is not necessary. Because the soil has not been run through a screener, it maintains its natural consistency and may contain rocks, roots, clumps, and other naturally occurring materials.

Recommended Uses
Our Unscreened Topsoil is an excellent choice for rough grading, building up lawn areas, filling low spots, establishing grades, general landscaping, and creating a soil base beneath finished areas.
For new lawns, Unscreened Topsoil can be used to build the area to the desired elevation, followed by a layer of Screened Topsoil or Mixed Soil to create a smoother surface for grass seed or sod.

For projects requiring a fine, smooth, and easy-to-grade finished surface, we recommend our Screened Topsoil instead.
